 | Adoptee wondering about biological mother |
| My birth name was Jandri Woest. I was adopted from birth on 15 April 1987. My biological mother was 14 years of age, very young to give birth. I was born in Springs Hospital. |
My adoptive parents were always honest with me and I always knew that I was adopted, which made all the difference in the world. It has never bothered me to find my biological mother until I fell pregnant. Now 4 months into my pregnancy I find the urge just to find out more. My biological mother's name is Melissa Johnston. She might be married now. My search for my biological mother only started now, and it's a bit more difficult than I thought it would be emotionally. But the best I can do is leave it in God's hands, and in due time, His time, perhaps I will meet her. I would like her to know how successful and happy I am and what a wonderful life I've so far, what a wonderful fiance I have. I think it will bring her joy knowing that I did something with my life.
