Adoption Stories Any help appreciated My son was given up for adoption 13 years ago in South Africa. I was unaware of the adoption until after it happened. I am the Father and he was born out of wedlock. I am now searching for the adoptive parents in hopes of finding out some information on him and hopefully being able to meet him. I am from the United States and am unaware of how this works in South Africa. My son was born 12-25-93 in South Africa. He was named Brent Sean Smith by his birth mother.
